KATSEYE Lands Four Songs on the Hot 100 at Once — And Tops the Artist 100 Too

KATSEYE’s chart-topping week just got bigger. Two days after WILD debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the group has notched an even rarer feat: four songs charting simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100.

It’s the kind of multi-front chart takeover most artists never manage even once, and KATSEYE has pulled it off in the same stretch that also delivered its first-ever No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100.

Four Songs, One Chart Week

According to Billboard’s chart dated August 29, 2026, KATSEYE’s “Animal” — a pre-release single from WILD — climbed six spots to reach No. 24 on the Hot 100, marking a new peak for the track in its fourth week on the chart. Right behind it, “Hootie Frutti,” the EP’s title track, made its first appearance on the chart at No. 31.

Two more KATSEYE tracks rounded out the group’s simultaneous Hot 100 presence: “Pinky Up” re-entered at No. 81.

Notching its eleventh non-consecutive week on the chart, while “Iconic By Mistake” — KATSEYE’s collaboration with fellow HYBE labelmates LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT — re-entered at No. 94.

Four songs on the Hot 100 in a single week is a milestone most acts spend years working toward, and for KATSEYE it arrives less than two years after the group’s debut EP entered the Billboard 200 at a modest No. 119.

It also builds directly on the group’s prior chart résumé: before this week, KATSEYE had already logged Hot 100 entries with “Gnarly,” “Gabriela,” “Internet Girl,” and “Pinky Up,” but never four at once.

A First-Ever No. 1 on the Artist 100

The Hot 100 sweep landed alongside another career first: KATSEYE reached No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 for the first time.

The Artist 100 blends performance across the Hot 100, the Billboard 200, and streaming and social metrics into a single ranking of overall artist activity, so a No. 1 there reflects momentum across every part of an act’s catalog, not just one hit single or album.

That’s meaningful company.

Since the Artist 100 launched in 2014, only a handful of K-pop-affiliated acts have topped it, including BTS, BLACKPINK, Stray Kids, and, more recently, TWICE. KATSEYE’s arrival at No. 1 places the group inside that same short list, and does so at a moment when its commercial numbers — a chart-topping EP, four simultaneous Hot 100 entries, and rising streaming totals — are all trending in the same direction at once.

“Hootie Frutti” Is Doing the Heavy Lifting

Of the four tracks, “Hootie Frutti” is generating the most attention as a fresh entry. Released August 14, 2026 as WILD’s title track and the EP’s final pre-release single, the song blends Brazilian funk influences with an upbeat, Latin-tinged pop sound, and its music video — inspired in part by Britney Spears’ “I’m a Slave 4 U” — leans into a maximalist, high-energy visual style.

Critical reaction has been mixed: some reviewers have pointed to repetitive lyrics, a formulaic pop structure, and heavy product placement in the video as weak points, even as the track has become one of the group’s fastest-growing releases on streaming platforms.

That growth shows up in the numbers. The “Hootie Frutti” music video has already surpassed 44 million YouTube views, and KATSEYE’s monthly Spotify listener count has climbed to roughly 38.5 million, up from about 35 million in the weeks immediately surrounding WILD’s release.

The song also debuted at No. 19 on Billboard’s Global 200 chart and No. 27 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, giving KATSEYE a second EP track — alongside “Animal,” which returned to a new global peak of No. 10 — with meaningful international pull.

How This Builds on WILD’s Billboard 200 Win

Just earlier this week, we published : KATSEYE Hits No. 1 on Billboard 200 With WILD — First-Ever Chart-Topper It sure didn’t take long before another chart topper.

This week’s Hot 100 sweep doesn’t stand alone — it’s a direct continuation of the momentum from WILD’s historic Billboard 200 debut.

As previously reported, WILD opened at No. 1 with roughly 170,000 equivalent album units, the largest week by units for an all-woman group since Billboard began tracking album units in December 2015, and the biggest U.S. debut by a girl group in 18 years.

The Hot 100 performance reinforces that the EP’s success isn’t confined to album sales.

With four tracks charting simultaneously — three of them pre-release or promotional singles and one, “Hootie Frutti,” a brand-new entry — WILD is proving to have staying power at the single-song level as well, something not every chart-topping album manages to replicate on the Hot 100.

There’s a ripple effect on KATSEYE’s back catalog, too. The group’s second EP, Beautiful Chaos, and debut EP, SIS (Soft Is Strong), both saw renewed chart activity on the Billboard 200 in WILD’s wake, a sign that new listeners drawn in by the current rollout are working backward through the group’s discography.

Elsewhere on the Chart

KATSEYE wasn’t the only notable name on this week’s Hot 100. BLACKPINK’s Jennie held steady at No. 8 with “Dracula,” her collaboration with Australian act Tame Impala, marking a 47th consecutive week on the chart.

Stray Kids’ “This & That” also remained in the Billboard 200’s upper tier during the same tracking week, a reminder that KATSEYE’s breakout is happening alongside — not instead of — a broader wave of Asia-linked pop acts performing well on U.S. charts this year.

What It Means Going Forward

Four simultaneous Hot 100 entries and a first-ever Artist 100 No. 1, arriving within days of a historic Billboard 200 debut, add up to arguably the strongest single chart week of KATSEYE’s career so far.

Whether “Hootie Frutti” can climb further on the Hot 100 in the coming weeks — or whether “Animal” continues its slow, steady rise toward a new career peak — will be the next thing to watch as Billboard’s following chart cycle rolls out.

For a group that debuted with a modest No. 119 entry just two years ago, this week’s numbers mark a clear inflection point: KATSEYE is no longer just charting.

It’s dominating multiple charts at the same time, and doing it with a mix of pre-release singles, a brand-new title track, and a collaboration cut — evidence that its commercial pull now extends well beyond a single lead single or flagship album.
