NouerA Canada Tour 2026: Photocard, Fansign & Toronto Fan Event Guide

NouerA’s Canadian Tour Brings a Rare Photocard Chase to Montreal and Toronto

K-pop’s photocard economy has a funny way of turning a single tour stop into a full-blown scavenger hunt, and this August, that hunt is happening in Canada.

Rookie group NouerA — one of the breakout acts from the survival show MAKEMATE1 — is bringing its debut world tour, “Catch the Wave,” to Montreal and Toronto, and the trip has already generated more headlines than a typical newcomer’s first international run usually does.

Between a last-minute Vancouver cancellation, a three-day free festival appearance, and a ticketed fan event where photocards and albums can be personally signed, there’s a lot for Canadian K-pop fans — and photocard collectors specifically — to track. Here’s the full picture.

Who Is NouerA, and Why Does This Tour Matter?

NouerA debuted on February 26, 2025, with their first mini album New is Now, after several of its members were selected through the competition series MAKEMATE1.

In the year and a half since, the group has released a steady stream of comeback albums — including n: number of cases and the third mini album POP IT LIKE — building a small but dedicated fanbase, much of it centered around the group’s photocard culture.

Fan-run trackers like Bias Room currently catalog more than 1,600 individual NouerA photocards across just five albums, which gives a sense of how quickly collecting has become part of the group’s fandom identity.

A debut world tour reaching North America this early is notable on its own. That it includes Canada — a market that doesn’t always make the cut for rookie-tier K-pop acts — is part of why local fans and fan pages have been buzzing since the tour was first announced.

The Vancouver Cancellation

Not every part of the Canadian leg made it to the stage. Vancouver was originally slated to host NouerA on August 16 at Richmond’s River Rock Theatre, with tickets going on sale back in April.

In early June, however, Canadian touring management company J&B Entertainment announced the Vancouver show would not proceed, citing what it described as “careful consideration of local circumstances and operational conditions.” Refunds for Vancouver ticket holders began processing shortly after the announcement.

Montreal and Toronto were confirmed to continue as planned, and Toronto’s stop was actually expanded rather than scaled back — folding NouerA into a larger Korean cultural festival rather than a standalone concert.

Montreal: Le National, August 18

Montreal’s show is being held at Le National, a mid-sized venue that’s become a regular stop for touring K-pop acts making their way through Eastern Canada.

General admission and upgraded ticket tiers went on sale in April alongside the (since-cancelled) Vancouver date, and Montreal remains the only true standalone NouerA concert on the current Canadian itinerary.

Toronto: A Three-Day Festival Plus a Dedicated Fan Event

Toronto’s leg of the tour looks different from a typical single-night concert stop, and that’s largely because it’s tied into the 2026 Toronto Korean Festival — also known online as Toronto K Fest.

From August 21 to 23, NouerA joins a lineup that includes fellow acts ASC2NT, Catch The Young, and GranadA for free public performances at Mel Lastman Square in North York.

The festival itself is built around more than just music: organizers have promoted a full weekend of Korean cultural programming, including a hanbok fashion show, a K-pop DJ stage, a K-beauty pavilion, and dozens of Korean street food vendors.

For fans without festival tickets or budget for the paid fan event, this stretch is the free, public-facing way to see NouerA perform live in Canada.

The more exclusive piece comes after the festival wraps. On August 24, J&B Entertainment is holding a dedicated NouerA fan event at the Crowne Plaza Toronto – North York by IHG. Unlike the festival performances, this is a ticketed, tiered event, and it’s where the photocard-focused fan activities actually happen.

What the Fan Event Tiers Actually Include

J&B Entertainment sells several ticket levels for the Toronto fan event, and the differences matter a lot if photocards or autographs are the goal:

  • Platinum tickets (listed around $228 CAD) include a one-on-one “Fanchat” — a 60-second conversation with one member of the fan’s choosing, during which that member personalizes a signature on a photocard or album with the fan’s name. Platinum tier also includes the group Fansign session.

  • VIP tickets (around $121 CAD) include access to the Fansign portion only, where fans walk down a table as all members sign in sequence, typically limited to the front page of an album or a single photocard.

  • Standard and Premium Snapshot packages, along with a Group Selfie option, offer photo opportunities without the signing component, at lower price points.

Per J&B’s official event FAQ, fans attending the Fansign are permitted to bring their own albums or photocards to be signed, and the company also confirms that “exclusive merch and albums or photocards” will be available for purchase on-site during the event — meaning collectors aren’t required to already own a card going in.

One notable restriction: cameras must stay off during the Fanchat and Fansign portions, even while waiting in line, and outside gifts beyond letters are not accepted at the signing table.

The Bigger Pattern: Exclusive, Pickup-Only Photocards in Canada

This is where the Canadian photocard angle gets more interesting than a single fan event. J&B Entertainment has a track record of releasing limited, pickup-only photocard sets tied specifically to its Canadian tour stops — separate from the group’s regular album photocards sold internationally.

A clear example: for fellow touring act YOUNITE, J&B sold a standalone photocard product priced at $20 CAD, available only for pickup at the help desk on concert day, with pickup locations split across Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver — no shipping offered at all.

Similar city-specific photocard sets have been listed for other acts on this same Canadian festival bill, including ASC2NT and Catch The Young.

That pattern strongly suggests Canadian collectors should keep an eye on J&B’s shop pages in the lead-up to and during the NouerA stops, since a comparable pickup-exclusive NouerA card — distinct from anything sold through Korean retailers like Makestar, Ktown4U, or Withmuu — would fit squarely with how the company has handled other artists on this tour.

As of now, though, the confirmed photocard opportunity tied directly to NouerA is the signing benefit built into the Platinum and VIP fan-event tiers, not a separately listed merchandise SKU.

Why This Matters for Collectors Outside Korea

For photocard collectors, most of the action typically happens through Korean pre-order events, fansign giveaways run by retailers like Makestar or Everline, and resale marketplaces like eBay, Mercari, or specialty K-pop shops.

Those routes usually mean waiting weeks for international shipping, dealing with randomized “lucky draw” odds, or paying resale markups once a card is already sold out.

A Canadian tour stop changes that equation. Fans attending in person get a same-day, in-hand opportunity — either through a personalized Fanchat signature, a Fansign autograph, or (based on J&B’s pattern with other artists) a potential city-exclusive card that never gets an international release at all.

For a group as young as NouerA, whose photocard catalog is still relatively small compared to more established acts, an event-exclusive Canadian card would carry real scarcity value among collectors from day one.

To Conclude : What to Expect Next

With Montreal’s show and the Toronto festival dates approaching quickly, the most useful move for fans is to watch J&B Entertainment’s official channels — its website, Instagram, and X accounts — for any last-minute merchandise drops, since city-specific photocards for other artists on this tour have tended to appear close to each event date rather than being announced far in advance.

Between the free festival performances, the ticketed fan event, and J&B’s established habit of releasing Canada-only collectibles for touring K-pop acts, NouerA’s stop in Toronto and Montreal is shaping up to be more than a standard concert weekend — it’s a real opportunity for North American fans to walk away with something that started, and may end, entirely in Canada.
